Fast forward to the 21st Century and creator Jon Hare has re-emerged on the gaming scene with Sociable Soccer, an homage to the legendary classic but reborn with new-generation principles and presentation.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t FIFA, it doesn’t aspire to be, and it doesn’t come with the expensive price tag either. Sociable Soccer takes a much more arcade-y approach to the genre with streamlined controls and blazing fast play sessions. You can work your way through a full single-player campaign complete with 25,000 real players or take your skills into the multiplayer arena with local or online play.
