Pick your Path:
There is no set path on your Paldea adventure, so you can weave freely though three grand stories. Victory Road - Prove your strength in 8 Gym battles and aim for the Champion Rank! The order you challenge them is up to you. Path of Legends - Take on gigantic Titan Pokémon that guard rare ingredients. Starfall Street - Take on Team Star grunts in order to reach their boss.
Meet new Pokémon:
The Paldea region is home to many other new Pokémon, including Paldean forms of Pokémon you may have encountered in previous Pokémon adventures. Choose your first partner Pokémon from Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Which Pokémon will you start with? Encounter the mysterious Legendary Pokémon, Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Miraidon in Pokémon Violet. Rise them to traverse the region.
Enjoy Pokémon together:
Explore Paldea, battle, and trade together in local or online co-op with up to three other Trainers. Spend time with your friends, cheering each other on in wild Pokémon battles and showing off the Pokémon that walk along with you.
Terastallize your Pokémon:
The Terastal phenomenon is found only in the Paldea region and makes Pokémon shine and glimmer like gems. Terastallize a Pokémon at strategic moments during battles to activate its Tera Type, increasing the power of moves that have the same type as your Pokémon’s Tera Type and changing your Pokémon’s weaknesses! Team up with three other Trainers in Tera Raid Battles, where you take on a Terastallized wild Pokémon within a time limit.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero
Continue the journey beyond Paldea with The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Experience new stories, explore new areas, and encounter over 230 new and returning Pokémon that don’t appear in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
Part 1: The Teal Mask – Out now!
Take a school trip to the tranquil Land of Kitakami, whose people live at the base of a great mountain. Join the festival of masks as you learn about the local folklore and discover the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon with its fearsome mask!
Part 2: The Indigo Disk – planned release date: Winter 2023
Travel to the recently established Blueberry Academy in the Unova region, and take on the BB League’s Elite Four. Try out new moves for your Pokémon and try out a whole new Tera type in battle. Discover the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos, resplendent in its glittering aura!
