Predator: Hunting Grounds is an immersive asymmetrical shooter set in remote areas worldwide. Players are transported into the Predator universe, giving fans the closest experience to being in the films, where the Predator stalks the most challenging prey.
Play as a member of an elite special forces team - the Fireteam - and complete paramilitary operations before the Predator finds you. Then again, what better way to bond with your fellow Fireteam members than trying to turn the tables on the Yautja… Hunt the Hunter! Or play as the Predator to hunt the most worthy prey, choosing from your vast array of deadly alien tech with which to collect your trophies, one by one. The Predator’s mission is clear: The Hunt. Study the warriors in the jungle and engage with the best of the best. Dispatch your targets and collect trophies to display as tokens of each hunt. Do not let your prey escape.
Fireteam Missions:
The Fireteam is tasked with infiltrating camps, stealing intel, and countless other missions before you get to the chopper for evac. Engage with the Predator and your focus shifts to staying alive. Even if you manage to get the upper hand, you may need to keep it from self-destructing and taking your whole squad down. Succeed in killing the Predator and a whole new fight starts against Stargazer troops as they battle to secure the alien technology it drops.
The Predator Missions:
The Predator is driven to collect the most prized trophies – the skulls of elite fighters. When playing as the Predator you’ll need to decide who to attack and how to get the drop on your quarry. You’ll be equipped with several devices to isolate and slay your opponents.
Invisible Enemies:
Both sides can find themselves facing an invisible enemy during the hunt. As a Fireteam member, cover yourself with mud to mask your body heat and avoid detection from the Predator’s infrared vision. As the Predator, you can become a shimmering shadow for a limited time, barely visible to your prey just like in the iconic films.
Only One Side Stays On the Ground:
Unlike other team shooters, the opposing side finds themselves on very different terrain throughout the game. The Predator can traverse the treetop canopy with incredible speed, using a system called ‘Predkour.’ As you move through the trees, available routes will glow red, showing you which branches the Predator can jump between, or where to make huge leaps to the next tree to stay on track.
What You Hear Is As Important As What You See:
As the Fireteam, you’ll need to keep your wits about you. Keep your ears open and you may hear a series of sinister clicks from the treetops: a sign that the Predator is lurking nearby. Identifying its direction could be the difference between life and death. But the Predator is a master of mimicry and can impersonate the calls of guerrillas or fellow Fireteam members and lure you into a trap.
In addition to the base game, this physical copy includes:
- A transparent plastic O-sleeve and box combo, allowing you to reveal the face of a deadly Predator whenever you take the CD out.
- A uniquely designed Predator-vision lenticular card.
- Bonus DLC Predators:
- Jungle Hunter ('87), City Hunter ('97), Wolf, Falconer, Mr Black, Scar, Chopper, Celtic, Emissary, Captured
