A 2600 adaptation of the 1978 arcade game, Avalanche brings an exciting twist to paddle games for the console. Use your multi-level shields to stop an avalanche of boulders falling toward you. A homebrew favourite programmed by John Champeau gets its official Atari release with an exclusive new Expert skill level added and new gameplay options that add an extra challenge. Play solo or versus a friend to see whose paddle skills reign supreme.

The earth is shaking beneath your feet. You hear the growing sound of ice breaking and the rumble of snow tumbling down a hill. It’s an AVALANCHE! Work at top speed to shield the research outpost from the rocks and ice chunks tumbling down the mountain. Use paddle controllers to adjust your shields, stop the onslaught, and save the day!
